I spent considerable time researching the broker, then the agent. More than a year previous to our choosing Preferred Properties and Jo, we had a poor experience with another large local firm, so this time I spent more time looking for a good match for us.
We needed to rely on Jo's local knowledge to make sure we understood the market. She did a very good good educating us about the Asheville market. She also knew every neighborhood and every house. Most importantly she really understood what we were looking for and helped us find a great home. The seller had some issues that continued to complicate the transaction, and Jo was thoughtful and professional as she negotiated through them.
